Soya Chunks Biryani with ground spices



3 cups kohinoor basmati – wash n keep aside for 1/2 hr
Soak 2 cups of soya chunks in hot water for 5min and drain water
Cut carrots, potatoes n add any other veg like sweet corn n peas – 1cup
Masala pwd:
Dry roast 4 cloves, 4 cardamom, 1tsp cumin seeds, 1tsp fennel seeds,4 dry chillies,1 tbsp coriander seeds and 2 inches cinnamon sticks and make a fine pwd n keep aside.


-Add 1 tbsp oil n fry onions(2 sliced) , green chillies for 3to4 min. 
-Add 2tbsp ginger paste n fry for 1 min.
-Add vegetables, masala pwd n mix well
-Add water( 1 cup of water for 1 cup of rice) so add 3 cups of water n salt and let it boil. Once the water starts boiling, add rice, put the heat to low n cook gently for 10 to 15min.
